About the artist

Rémi Meehan is an abstract painter based in New York City. Much of the inspiration for his work comes from time he spent on the coast of Normandy growing up as well as from beaches and landscapes in and around New York City. Rémi’s explorations of texture, from smooth gradients to thick impastos, depict varied interpretations of natural scenes. His free-flowing and improvisational style invites the viewer to rediscover and immerse themselves in the timelessness of nature in motion. Recent gallery shows include a solo exhibit at 3Roberts Gallery in Bryn Mawr, PA and an online gallery exhibit by Gallery Ozymandias.
